Lubbock Economic Development Alliance

situation

With an abundance of jobs but not enough workers, the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance needed to increase the civilian labor force and labor availability in Lubbock. By utilizing original photography, an easy-to-use website interface and a creative strategy to attract potential workers to Lubbock, we were able to increase awareness of the Lubbock job market.

Plan of attack

The scariest thing about making a move to a new city and job is the fear of the unknown. Lubbock required a campaign that would help increase awareness about the job market in Lubbock, but, most importantly, Lubbock needed to make newcomers feel welcome and equipped with the correct information and resources for a seamless and hospitable move.

The Lubbock employment website was a very effective tool in communicating with their intended target market. It was so successful in helping to find useful information on jobs, housing and living in Lubbock, that the site had to be shut down due to so much job growth.
